Hello Pincher Creek and area! Are you looking for something fun, exciting AND educational for your kids to do? Then keep reading.....

We want to empower our youth. We believe that they have many more choices in front of them than the limited options commonly presented. They will make their own future. We want the Pincher Creek Maker Center to instill the instinct that they can do this.
The Pincher Creek Maker Centre fosters the spirit of discovery and self empowerment in its youth oriented Drop-In Program. Attendees are encouraged to explore how things are built and become builders themselves in a self-directed experiential environment. Drop-in sessions run year round every Monday from 3:30 to 5:30 in the basement of the Annex (753 Kettles St). Kids from grade 3 and up (younger with parents attending) participate in supervised but largely self-directed exercises. Typical activities include: taking apart computers and other electronics, building computers, 3-D printing, electronics projects kits, mechanical project kits, drones, computer programming. There is a nominal fee charged per session of $5.
The drop-in program is available to all. Adults are welcome to explore their interests. Come by on a Monday and check us out.
