Calgary Sews was at the Calgary Stampede!
We kicked off day 1 as the first group in the new Creative Arts & Crafts pergola in the Western Oasis.
It was a great day! Our team met so many visitors who sew (or want to sew) clothes & bags, & didn’t know that we have a big, friendly community!
Thanks to those who stopped by. If you’re heading down to the grounds be sure to visit the displays & see the wonderful garments & bags crafted by local makers. Bonus - air conditioned, w**e bar & live music!

At today’s Calgary Sews Meetup, Janice from presented an excellent class on Full Bust Adjustments.
Janice is a great presenter and pretty sure everyone learned something!
What a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday! Learning how to improve our sewing projects in a room full of people who love sewing garments.
