Meet Chanel! The new fulltime registered nurse at Foundry!
My husband, our young daughter, 2 dogs and I recently made the BIG move from Yellowknife NWT to Burns Lake. Iβve been dreaming about moving to BC for years, and Iβve always loved small-town life, so somehow landing here and getting to work at Foundry feels a little bit like a dream come true.
A little about me, Iβm very down-to-earth, easy to talk to, and I genuinely love working with youth. I want Foundry to feel like a place where you can come in, be yourself, ask the awkward or easy questions about your health or just say, βHey, I have no idea who Iβm supposed to see about this.β
Thatβs what Iβm here for! I can help with many of your health needs, and if Iβm not the right person, Iβll do my best to connect you with someone who is. No judgment, no lectures, just come chat with me!
Outside of work, Iβm a huge crafter, professional snuggler of my ridiculously tiny dog , and I absolutely LOVE pottery. Iβm already hoping I can find a way to get involved with pottery here in Burns Lake and maybe even teach some classes one day!
Iβm really looking forward to becoming part of this community, meeting everyone, and getting to know the amazing youth and families who call Burns Lake home.
Come say hi if you see me at Foundry! Iβd genuinely love to meet you π
