Big day at Central Peel Secondary School in Brampton yesterday!

Ontario Career Lab brought together 30 volunteer Career Coaches and more than 300 students for an afternoon focused on career exploration, mentorship, and Career Conversations.

Yesterday morning, we had the chance to spend some time with Grade 9 and 10 students in Hammond, to speak about our career path that led us to opening our small business. Thank you to the Ontario Career Lab for the invitation! We met awesome kids in the process and had great conversations with teachers and our mayor, Mario Zanth.

Today, the Ontario Career Lab visited École secondaire catholique de Casselman for Career Conversations with Grade 10 francophone students.

What a fantastic day at the Skills Ontario Competition!

Ontario Career Lab was thrilled to host our Career Lounge, where students had the chance to connect with professionals from a wide range of industries. The energy was incredible with so many young people asking questions, exploring ideas, and thinking about their futures.

A big thank you to Skills Canada - Ontario for another amazing Competition, and congratulations to all the competitors who took part: you should be so proud!

We’re also very grateful to our incredible Career Coaches who volunteered their time to support these conversations. Your guidance and encouragement truly make a difference!

We’re at the Skills Canada - Ontario Competition at the Toronto Congress Centre!

Students spent the day building roller coasters with our Make Do Kits—and the results are amazing!

We’ve been on the road visiting schools across Ontario—and we’re excited to start sharing some more Career Conversations in action!

Last month, we spent time with students at Cornwall Collegiate, bringing Career Conversations into the school to help young people reflect on their strengths, interests, and future goals.
It’s always inspiring to see students open up, ask questions, and start thinking differently about what’s possible.
