The committee is made of service providers within Leeds and Grenville. The Anti-violence Collation of Leeds and Greenville is a collaboration of service providers committed to enhancing our community response to violence. Cyberstalking isn’t “just online drama”—it can be terrifying and dangerous. 😳

It’s the misuse of technology to harass, stalk, or threaten someone, and it often comes from people the victim already knows (an ex, a friend, a coworker, even family). For young people especially, it can cause serious emotional distress, and research shows victims under 25 are more than twice as likely to self-harm or attempt su***de.

And it doesn’t always stay online—digital harassment can escalate into in-person abuse and violence.

If someone you care about is being targeted, take it seriously, document what’s happening, and reach out for support—you don’t have to handle it alone. 💜

What’s one safety step you wish more people knew to protect themselves (or their kids) online? Share in the comments so others can learn too. 📱

🚩 Signs You Are Being Manipulated 🚩

Manipulation is not always obvious. It can show up as guilt trips, gaslighting, emotional pressure, blame-shifting, silent treatment, or making you question your own reality. Over time, emotional manipulation can damage your self-esteem, confidence, boundaries, and mental health.

If you constantly feel confused after conversations, responsible for someone else's emotions, or pressured to ignore your own needs, it may be time to take a closer look at the relationship dynamics around you.

Learning to recognize the warning signs of manipulation is the first step toward protecting your emotional well-being and building healthier relationships.

Relationships are one of the main ways young people learn about trust, communication, identity, boundaries, and belonging.

As boys grow up, they are constantly exposed to messages about dating, friendship, masculinity, conflict, consent, and gender roles — both online and offline.

Healthy relationships are not just about avoiding harm. They are about learning how to:

🟣Communicate openly

🟣Respect boundaries

🟣Navigate conflict in healthy ways

🟣Build trust and emotional safety

🟣Show empathy and accountability

🟣Support others while respecting themselves

Visit rasingboys.ca for more information

Explore practical tools and resources to help boys build healthy relationships grounded in respect, empathy, communication, consent, and emotional well-being. Learn how online influences, masculinity, and communication shape boys’ friendships and relationships.
