This Christmas, 70 children and 40 women will experience a moment of joy they weren’t sure they’d have — because 𝘺𝘰𝘶 chose to give.

Your generosity does more than provide gifts… it reminds families that their community cares.

Thank you for being part of their story of hope.

The holidays are meant to be joyful—but for children living in homes with domestic violence, this season can be especially stressful. Witnessing conflict can leave children feeling unsafe, anxious, or responsible for things beyond their control. Research shows that children exposed to domestic violence are at higher risk for long-term emotional and behavioral challenges.

This Christmas, let's remember that not all children have the comforts that many of us take for granted—a warm bed to wake up in, food in their cupboards, or gifts under their tree. Let’s do our part to reach out to those in need and bring a little joy, safety, and hope into their holiday season

Check back soon to see how you can help bring a smile to a child's face this Christmas.

Another GREAT way to Support Sanctuary House!

Exciting News!

We're so thrilled to share something truly meaningful happening right here in our community. All the schools in the District of Carleton North are stepping up in a big way. On 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟔, students and teachers are being encouraged to wear purple and bring a $2 donation—with every dollar going directly to support Sanctuary House.

This initiative touches us deeply. Knowing that young people, educators, and entire school communities are choosing to stand with women and children affected by domestic violence means more than we can put into words. It shows compassion. It shows awareness. It shows leadership. And we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them. 💜

But this movement doesn’t have to stop here.

We want to personally invite every school in our region to join hands with District of Carleton North. Wear purple. Show your support. And, just as importantly, take a moment to spark real conversations—conversations about healthy relationships, respect, kindness, and the reality that many families in our community have been impacted by domestic violence.

Your voices matter. Your actions matter. And together, we can build a community where hope, safety, and understanding shine brighter than fear.

Will your school join us in making November 26 a day of purple, hope, and meaningful change?
