🚨 9-1-1 is for life-threatening emergencies only.
Calls for non-emergency situations, accidental dials, or prank calls can delay help for someone experiencing a real emergency when every second counts.

Before calling 9-1-1, ask yourself:
✔️ Is someone’s life in danger?
✔️ Is there an immediate threat to safety?
✔️ Is urgent police, fire, or paramedic response needed?

For non-emergency situations, please use the appropriate non-emergency phone numbers whenever possible. Together, we can help keep emergency lines open for those who need urgent assistance most.

April 12 - April 18 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week! 🚨

During Telecommunicator Week, we proudly recognize the dedicated professionals who are the calm, steady voice behind every emergency call. These individuals are the “first” first responders—providing critical support, gathering life-saving information, and dispatching help when it matters most.

This week, we acknowledge the incredible work of 911 dispatchers who perform under pressure with professionalism, compassion, and precision every single day.

Thank you for your unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe. Your voices make a difference.
