🚨 WTF WEDNESDAY 🚨 LUPIN!

At this point, we’re just going to post Lupin every couple of days until someone finally gets the hint. 😂 Because seriously… WHY DOES NOBODY WANT THIS DOG?!

Lupin is just over 30 lbs of pure chaos, cuddles, and nonstop entertainment. She’s basically a pocket-sized best friend with a whole lot of love to give.

Her resume includes:

🐾 Dog-friendly and always accepting applications for new besties
🐾 Sleeps in her kennel ALL NIGHT without a peep (yes, really!)
🐾 Has never met a toy she didn’t immediately fall in love with
🐾 Great on a leash
🐾 Professional playtime enthusiast
🐾 Would rather run around having the time of her life than sit still and be boring

Basically, she’s the fun friend who makes every day more entertaining, and somehow she’s STILL sitting in rescue waiting for someone to pick her. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.

Lupin is ready to be somebody’s whole world. She’s ready for the couch cuddles, the adventures, the toys she can call her own, and a family who wonders how they ever lived without her.

So, what are we missing here!?

🚨 WTF WEDNESDAY 🚨 Featuring Summer & Winter!

EXCUSE US?! WHY ARE THESE TWO STILL HERE?!

These sisters have been in rescue since JUNE. It is now OCTOBER. That’s FOUR MONTHS of waiting for someone to scoop them up and make them part of the family!

So we have some questions… 🤨

Is it their colour? Are they being discriminated against for being a little less orange and fluffy and a little more “standard issue cat”?

Or is it because they’re currently in their awkward teenage kitten era? You know, the stage where you’re not quite a tiny baby anymore, but you haven’t fully figured out how to be a sophisticated adult either. We get it, girls. Middle school is hard. 😅

Whatever the reason, we’re calling BS!

Summer and Winter are SWEET girls who deserve a home of their own. They’ve done their time in rescue, and we’re pretty sure they’d prefer a couch, a family, and a lifetime supply of snacks over another season here.

Come on, people! Let’s get these sisters out of rescue and into their forever home. They’ve already waited through summer… let’s not make them wait through winter, too!

🚨 WTF WEDNESDAY 🚨 Featuring… FORTUNE! 🐾

Seriously. How is this girl STILL looking for her forever home?!

Fortune was born in rescue on March 2nd and is now 7 months old. She’s officially outgrown the tiny puppy stage, but don’t worry, she still has plenty of goofy puppy energy to keep life interesting!

Fortune can get a little excited and bouncy at times (she’s a puppy, not a professional ballerina 💃), but at home, she is the sweetest, gentlest girl. She loves all other dogs and thinks ALL humans are her best friends, kids included!

Cats? Well, she’s been around them and seems interested, but hasn’t shown aggression. We can’t promise she won’t want to investigate their entire existence, though. 😅

This girl has grown up in rescue, and it’s about time she got to grow up in a HOME. A family to love her, a couch to claim as her own, and people who will wonder how they ever lived without her.

OKAY BUT HEAR US OUT…

Phelix is 6 months old, 45 lbs and basically checking ALL the boxes. 👀

✅ House & kennel trained
✅ Good with kids, dogs & cats of ALL ages and sizes
✅ Loves walks, bones & toys
✅ Generally just a very good boy

So what’s the catch?

He has a big mouth. 😂

When he’s excited or unsure, Phelix barks. And with a 45 lb puppy voice, it can sound WAY scarier than it actually is.

Except… his tail is wagging the entire time. 🥴

Big bark. Happy tail. Slight menace. Just a goofy puppy with a lot to say and absolutely no volume control.

He needs someone who can handle the dramatic soundtrack and give him a little guidance while he figures things out.

MEET NIKITA! 🐾

This gorgeous 4-year-old, 65 lb girl is as lovely as they come! And just look at that face!

Nikita has experience with just about everyone, including kids, cats, dogs and livestock! Talk about an all-around country girl!

She’s house-trained, kennel-trained, and ready to find the forever family she’s been waiting for. ❤️

Nikita can be a little shy when meeting new people, so she’ll need a family willing to give her some extra patience while she settles in. But once you earn her trust, you’ll have a friend for life.

392 days in rescue and still waiting for her happily ever after!

Meet Karma! Karma is a 4-year-old DSH orange and white girl who was rescued from the pound last year.

Karma is looking for a quiet home with 1 or 2 adults who understand that love sometimes means giving a girl her space. She’d be perfectly happy to play, nap, and do her own thing until she decides it’s time for affection. She would do best as the only pet in the home so she can enjoy all the attention (on her terms, of course!).

We suspect Karma spent much of her life as a stray and didn’t get much human attention, so she’s looking for someone patient who will let her settle in and learn that the good life is here to stay.

Her biggest weakness? Churu treats. Have those on hand and you might just find the way to her heart!

MEET OUR CATS MONDAY — SAVE A POUND CAT EDITION! 🐾

We seriously cannot believe these little guys haven’t been SCOOPED UP yet!

Meet Tater, Turkey, Caterpillar & Tuna — four adorable kittens with four very different personalities!

🥔 🦃 Tater & Turkey are 9 week-old brothers who came into our care as strays with their mama, Biscuit. They’re getting vaccinated tomorrow and will soon be ready to find their forever homes!

🐛 Caterpillar is a little shy and timid at first, but once she warms up, she’s ALL about the cuddles. She loves other cats, does great with dogs, and would happily curl up beside you for some quality snuggle time.

🐟 Tuna is… well… Tuna. He is ALL personality and may be operating with a few fewer brain cells than the average kitten. He’s adventurous, entertaining and completely unbothered by anything. The kids in his foster home can literally carry him around like a baby and he just goes along with it.

One is sweet and slightly cautious. One is chaos with whiskers. Add in two tiny brothers that are just getting started in the world.

Four ridiculously cute kittens. Four little personalities. ALL waiting for forever homes. ❤️

Meet Our Cats Monday! 🐾

Sq**rt — Almost 2-year-old brown tabby with orange markings. She has two speeds: “I’m comfy on the couch, don’t bother me” and “WAIT, WHAT’S HAPPENING? I’M IN!” She loves other cats and just needs a little encouragement to join the fun. With a proper introduction, she’d fit well into most homes.

Winter & Summer — These 10-month-old sisters are a little shy and have been overlooked. They’d really thrive with a consistent routine and a stable home where they can finally feel secure.

Ginny — This 10-month-old tabby is a playful girl who loves chase, hide-and-seek, tummy rubs and gentle wrestling. She’s done well with other cats and loves attention, but she’s also a professional napper. With proper introductions, we think she’d do well with cats or dogs.

Glacier & Pesto — These 12-week-old littermates are currently in foster care. Glacier is the tuxedo and Pesto is the black kitty with gorgeous grey undertones. They’re still working on their confidence and becoming more social, but they’re making great progress now that they’ve been reunited and can learn from each other.

💕 Each of these cats is just waiting for someone to give them the time, patience and love they deserve.

Meet Our Cats Monday!

The Tuxedo Crew! 🤍🖤

If you have a soft spot for black and white cats, we have THREE looking for their forever homes!

🐾 Nibbles
6-month-old male DSH
Nibbles was found as a stray in the city and sadly went unclaimed. He was pretty shy when he first arrived, but he’s really come out of his shell and is now enjoying pets, attention, and all the love he can get. He’ll even meow when he’s looking for some extra affection.

🐾 Dewdrop
4-month-old female DSH

🐾 Selina
5-month-old female DSH

Dewdrop and Selina were also found as strays and went unclaimed. Both girls are friendly, independent little ladies who are great with other cats, dogs, and kids. They’re currently living with other cats in their foster home and are doing wonderfully.

🐾 Goldie
3-month-old DSH orange female

Goldie was found as a stray with an injury that affected her hind legs. After being checked by our vet, X-rays showed no fractures, and she’s getting stronger every day! Nothing slows this determined little girl down. She loves cats, dogs and kids and is always ready for her next adventure.

🐾 Boston
4-month-old DSH orange & white male

Boston was found as a stray in a rural community. He’s playful, friendly and currently fostered with Selina, who he gets along great with.

Vanna has a little extra to be thankful for this year… SHE FOUND HER FOREVER FAMILY!

After coming into rescue, raising her babies, and needing a little extra love herself, Vanna’s story is getting the happily-ever-after she deserves. This Thanksgiving, she’s trading rescue life for home life, and we couldn’t be happier for her!

Turns out, the best thing on the Thanksgiving menu is a forever home. Happy tails, Vanna! ❤️
