🐾 PREVENTION SAVES LIVES. 🐾

Funds for Furry Friends Animal Rescue is once again partnering with Manitoba Animal Alliance and Waywayseecappo First Nation for our annual Spay & Neuter Clinic, September 11–13, 2026.

This clinic is about more than spaying and neutering. It’s about preventing suffering before it happens.

🐶 Spay & neuter prevents unwanted litters and helps reduce the number of animals who end up homeless or in rescue.

💉 Vaccines help protect individual pets and the community from preventable disease outbreaks.

🐾 Together, these services mean fewer unwanted animals, fewer preventable illnesses, and less suffering.

We’re looking for sponsors to help provide this care at a greatly reduced cost:

$125 — sponsor a dog
$80 — sponsor a cat

Each sponsorship includes spay/neuter, vaccines and food.

Meet Lucky

Lucky got a brand-new sofa and, honestly, he’s pretty pleased with it. The delivery drivers, however? Highly suspicious. Those guys were sketchy and Lucky made sure everyone knew about it.

Also, his name is clearly not a representation of his time in rescue. Because this guy has been waiting 957 DAYS for his lucky break. At this point, we’re thinking his name needs a little work.

Lucky is NOT your typical “pick him up and bring him home and he’ll immediately fit into the family” kind of dog. He is absolutely wonderful once he’s comfortable, but he needs a home that understands him and is willing to let him settle in at his own pace.

Slow, proper introductions to new people and dogs are a must. Lucky takes his job as Head of Household Security very seriously. Someone walking by? ALERT. Someone entering the yard? ALERT. Suspicious squirrel? FULL INVESTIGATION.

Once he knows you, Lucky is a fantastic dog. He loves his dog friends, and Blu is his absolute best friend. In fact, if you’re looking for TWO slightly misunderstood, wonderfully weird dogs… we may have a package deal for you.

Cat Policy.. strictly enforced.
Lucky is not here for cats. He has made his position very clear, and unfortunately, there will be no negotiations, appeals, or second interviews.

He needs someone who will appreciate the dog he is, respect his boundaries, give him time to trust, and understand that his loyalty and love are something you earn, not something he hands out on day one.

After 957 days, we’d really love for Lucky to finally find his person. ❤️

Toews | 13 weeks old 🐾

Meet Toews! This handsome little guy is sweet, playful, affectionate and always ready to be part of the fun.

Toews LOVES pets and cuddles, playing with the big dogs and hanging out with the kids. He’s a super chill puppy and has been doing so well in his foster home.

He sleeps through the night in his kennel, potty training has been going well, and he’s making great progress with his leash walking. He takes a little bit to get started, but once he’s going, he walks really nicely!

Toews is a little more confident and direct than his sister Kirk, and he’s always happy to check things out. He’s playful without being wild and has the sweetest personality.

This adorable boy is ready to find his forever family! ❤️

Kirk | 13 weeks old 🐾

Meet Kirk! This sweet little girl is a bit of a cautious soul, but once she’s comfortable, she is playful, affectionate and absolutely loves her people.

Kirk LOVES pets and cuddles and has so much fun playing with the big dogs and hanging out with the kids. She’s even brave enough to join them on the trampoline!

She can be a little timid when meeting new things and tends to take her time, sometimes literally crawling her way toward whatever she’s checking out. 😂 But that gentle, slightly cautious personality is part of what makes her so adorable.

Kirk sleeps through the night in her kennel, potty training has been going well, and she’s getting better with her leash. She’s definitely the runner of the two and would love to get out and explore!

She’s a sweet, chill, playful puppy who would love a family to call her own. ❤️
