At Bethel Outreach Community Services (BOCS), our Senior FoodFit Program is about more than healthy eating—it’s about supporting the overall health, mobility and well-being of older adults in our community.

In this session, our seniors are guided by a professional trainer through safe, engaging exercises designed to encourage movement, improve strength and support active, healthy living. 🏃‍♀️🧘‍♂️

What an unforgettable Summer Camp 2026! 💙

As we close another incredible season, our hearts are filled with gratitude.

Over the past weeks, we witnessed laughter, friendships, learning, confidence, and countless moments that reminded us why investing in our children matters.

Behind every smile was a dedicated team, passionate volunteers, supportive partners, and a community that believes every child deserves a safe, fun, and enriching summer.

To every child who joined us—thank you for bringing your energy, curiosity, and joy. You made this summer truly unforgettable.

To our amazing staff and volunteers—your commitment, patience, and love made a lasting impact that will be remembered long after camp has ended.

This may be the end of Summer Camp 2026, but it's only the beginning of the memories, friendships, and confidence our campers will carry into the future.

At Bethel Outreach Community Services (BOCS), we believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious, culturally appropriate food that reflects who they are and makes them feel valued.

That's why our work goes beyond providing groceries. Through our Community Food Bank, Ethnically Inclusive Groceries, Inclusive School Lunch Program, Seniors Health Matters, FoodFit for Older Adults, and Wrap Around Services, we're helping individuals and families build healthier, stronger futures.

Every meal we provide is an opportunity to restore dignity.

We were honoured to welcome iamcharmainewilliams, MPP for Brampton Centre and Ontario’s Minister of Women’s Social and Economic Opportunity, to our FoodFit for Older Adults Program, where she experienced firsthand how strong community partnerships are improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of older adults across our community.

Under the visionary leadership of our Founder and Executive Director, Madam Nwakaego Vivian Etuka, Bethel Outreach Community Services (BOCS) continues to champion innovative programs that ensure older adults have access to nutritious, culturally appropriate meals, health education, wellness initiatives, and meaningful social connections.
Every senior deserves to age with dignity, enjoy nutritious meals, stay active, and remain connected to a caring community. We are creating opportunities for healthier living while addressing food insecurity, promoting wellness, and reducing social isolation.

We sincerely thank Minister Charmaine Williams for taking the time to visit our program, engage with our seniors, and recognize the importance of investing in initiatives that empower older adults and strengthen communities across Ontario.
