We were honoured to welcome iamcharmainewilliams, MPP for Brampton Centre and Ontario’s Minister of Women’s Social and Economic Opportunity, to our FoodFit for Older Adults Program, where she experienced firsthand how strong community partnerships are improving the health, well-being, and quality of life of older adults across our community.

Under the visionary leadership of our Founder and Executive Director, Madam Nwakaego Vivian Etuka, Bethel Outreach Community Services (BOCS) continues to champion innovative programs that ensure older adults have access to nutritious, culturally appropriate meals, health education, wellness initiatives, and meaningful social connections.
Every senior deserves to age with dignity, enjoy nutritious meals, stay active, and remain connected to a caring community. We are creating opportunities for healthier living while addressing food insecurity, promoting wellness, and reducing social isolation.

We sincerely thank Minister Charmaine Williams for taking the time to visit our program, engage with our seniors, and recognize the importance of investing in initiatives that empower older adults and strengthen communities across Ontario.

Transformation begins with one opportunity—and at Bethel Outreach Community Services (BOCS), we're proud to see that transformation extend beyond the children we serve to the incredible people who serve alongside us. 💙

This Summer Camp 2026 is more than a place for children to laugh, learn, and create unforgettable memories—it's a reflection of the lives being transformed every day through community, purpose, and service.

Our Program Coordinator, Tobbie, shares his personal journey and how being part of BOCS has positively impacted his own life. As he speaks about his transformation, he continues doing what he loves most—caring for, encouraging, and inspiring the children at our summer camp.

His story reminds us that when we invest in people, they go on to invest in others.
