As the Bay of Quinte Minor Football playoffs begin, we would like to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the Quinte West Hellcats on the completion of their inaugural season.

Starting a new program is never easy. It takes dedicated coaches, committed volunteers, supportive families, and most importantly, a group of young athletes willing to take a chance and help build something from the ground up. This season, the Hellcats did exactly that.

While the wins and losses are recorded in the standings, the true success of the Hellcats' first season can be found in the growth of their players, the friendships formed, the memories created, and the foundation that has been established for the future.

We are incredibly proud of what the players, coaches, and families have accomplished in Year One. The Bay of Quinte Minor Football league is stronger because of your participation, and we are excited to work together to continue building and growing the Hellcats program in 2027 and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who wore the red and black this season, cheered from the sidelines, volunteered their time, and helped make this inaugural year a success.

🏈 Playoff football continues this Friday at Mary Ann Sills Park with our semifinal matchups.

🏆 Championship Saturday takes place June 20 at Loyalist College.

We hope to see the entire Hellcats family out supporting our young athletes as we celebrate another great season of football in the Bay of Quinte.

After an exciting regular season, the road to the Bay of Quinte Minor Football Championship begins Tuesday night!

Quinte West Hellcat player awards for June 2 🥳

Boden was our week 4 Bodysystems ‘Gym Player’ of the week for his ferocious hits and tackles, crushing opponents twice his size!

Nick was our week 4 ‘Kia Hot Wheels’ player of the week for his hustle and speed, scoring his 4 touchdown on the season!

Isaiah (and Ryan, not pictured) earned their Hellcats ‘stripes’ awards in week 4 for their leadership, speaking up and setting the tone for our team’s intensity and accountability.
