We are gearing up for 20K Sock Day 2025/2026! Now is a great time to find a box, decorate it and set it out for family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, etc. to start making their sock donations! As always, please visit 20ksockday.com to report your sock totals and pictures (or send through messenger, if that's easier).

This year, we have also set a goal to collect 2K toques! Let's help keep our unhoused friends stay warm from the top of their heads, to the tips of their toes this year.

Amazing support from Welch LLP!

Welch Quinte participated in the “20K Sock Day” again this year.

Not only did they collect a total of 1,086 pairs of socks, they surpassed last year's total of 1,048!

The socks were donated to 3 Oaks Foundation and the Grace Inn.

The Three Oaks Foundation is an emergency shelter that provides various services for women and their children who have experienced domestic violence in Belleville, Quinte West, Centre Hastings and Hastings & Prince Edward Counties. All services are free and confidential, and can be accessed by contacting their Crisis Line.

The Grace Inn is a 21-bed emergency shelter for adults experiencing homelessness in Belleville. They have a special focus on dignity, community and mentorship.

Welch LLP (Quinte offices) reported 1086 pairs of socks so we have a new national grand total, 18,222! Amazing!

UPDATE: Thanks to Solana Energy in Ontario who donated 1080, we now have had 17,125 pairs of socks donated!

On behalf of the 20K Sock Day Leadership Team, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who collected and donated socks for this year's campaign. Our goal, with your help, is to keep the feet of as many unhoused individuals as warm and dry as possible during the cold winter months. Thanks to you, 16,045 pairs of socks were taken to shelters across Canada!

We hope you will participate again next year!

Today is the last day for this year's 20K Sock Day / 20K Sock Day NB campaign. Rocky says there's still some room in the back of daddy's truck for more socks!

If you donated/collected socks this year and haven't yet sent us your numbers, we encourage you to please do so by noon tomorrow (Friday, February 28th) so we can include them in the national totals.

Thanks to our friends in Newfoundland who collected 300 pairs of men/women/children socks and donated them to the Community Food Sharing Association to be dispersed to food banks/shelters across Newfoundland and Labrador.

Summit Families, Let’s Make a Difference!

Every year, 2 million Canadians visit food banks, 1.7 million face housing insecurity, and 235,000 are homeless each night. During times like our current cold snap, the need is even greater.

Summit is partnering with 20K Sock Day, which has donated over 370,000 pairs to Canadians in need. Last year, we donated 2,000 pairs of socks, and Summit matched for a total of 4,000 pairs! 🙌

Our 2025 Goal: 2,200 new socks!

Your donation will be matched, doubling your impact. All socks will go to the Calgary Mustard Seed to help those experiencing homelessness.

How You Can Help:
Donate new, unopened socks (still in their original packaging).
Spread the word to friends and family.
