At the heart of everything we do is our mission: to provide compassionate care, practical support, and education to people impacted by unexpected pregnancy.

Our mission shapes how we serve, the programs we offer, the connections we make, and the way we walk alongside each person who comes through our doors. We believe that responding to a variety of needs is an expression of care to our clients, and we are always looking for new ways to be a hands-on, supportive presence in their stories.

A big thank you to FYidoctors for spending a couple of days at the Edmonton Pregnancy Care Centre with their mobile optometry clinic!

Their team graciously provided free eye care to our clients, which not only met a practical need but also reminded our clients that they are seen and cared for.

Since 2018, the Barrhead Pregnancy Care Centre has been walking alongside women and families facing unexpected pregnancies, offering compassionate care and practical support to those we serve.

We’re so grateful for every client, volunteer, staff member, donor, and supporter who has been part of our story. Here’s to 8 years of sowing hope!

This month, we're shining a spotlight on Elizabeth, our Client Services Coordinator!

If you've been to the Edmonton Pregnancy Care Centre in the past year, you've probably bumped into Elizabeth. She's often the first face you see when you walk through our doors, or the first voice you hear on the phone when you call. Her warmth and compassion are always on display, and both our volunteers and clients feel welcomed, cared for, and seen in her presence.

Elizabeth wears many hats at the Centre. You'll find her connecting with clients, stocking our clothing boutique, running Pregnancy Plus classes, helping our events run smoothly, and keeping our front desk running efficiently. She's also an excellent baker and makes a legendary Snickerdoodle!

We love having Elizabeth at the PCC, and we are grateful to have dedicated, empathetic, and passionate people like her on our team.
