🌱 Program Coordinator | Up to 35 hours/week | One-year contract

Are you the person who can keep programs moving, people connected and a dozen little details from falling through the cracks?
Our Program Coordinator will lead the day-to-day delivery, coordination and continuous improvement of BVFA programs and community initiatives. You’ll work across programs like the Bow Valley Fresh Food Box, community food events, workshops and other regional food-security initiatives.

We’re looking for an organized, community-minded human who can help bring the 2026 Santa’s Anonymous campaign to life.
You’ll help coordinate communications, donations, grocery gift cards, community partners, volunteers and financial tracking, while capturing everything we learn in a practical handover package to make future campaigns even stronger.

We are deeply grateful to Right To Food Canada for sharing this story and for creating spaces that challenge us to think differently about food, relationships, and community.

The Groundwork for Change framework has helped shape how we approach our work at the Bow Valley Food Alliance, from greenhouse and garden projects to conversations with Elders, community gatherings, and partnerships. It reminds us to move at the speed of trust, honour Indigenous knowledge systems, and place relationships at the centre of everything we do.

Thank you to all the Elders, knowledge keepers, community members, and partners who continue to teach us that food is more than nourishment, it is connection, culture, reciprocity, and a teacher.
