The kennels have been removed, and now two rooms need a deep clean.

This is dirty, heavy work and will require someone who isnā€™t afraid to get their hands dirty and put in some elbow grease!

Meet Ricky šŸ¾ā¤ļø

Ricky is a 2-year-old Wheaten Terrier/Shih Tzu mix weighing in at 28 lbs, and heā€™s looking for someone who understands that trust takes time.

Ricky absolutely loves to play with dogs he knows and trusts. Once heā€™s comfortable, heā€™ll happily play for hours! He also loves his walks and enjoys spending time with his people.

Now, Ricky does have a funny little quirkā€¦ he loves hiding under the sofa and then somehow forgets how to get back out! šŸ˜‚

Ricky is nervous around strangers and will bark quite a bit when heā€™s unsure. He needs someone who is patient and willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. He isnā€™t a dog who will instantly run up to everyone and say helloā€”and thatā€™s okay.

Once Ricky trusts you, youā€™ll have a best friend for life. ā¤ļø He loves sleeping beside his person and will be incredibly loyal to the human who earns his trust.

Ricky isnā€™t looking for perfection. Heā€™s looking for patience, understanding, and someone willing to let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

Give Ricky the time he needs, and heā€™ll give you his whole heart. šŸ¶ā¤ļø

Ricky is up to date with age appropriate vaccines. He is neutered and has been treated for fleas and internal parasites. He is also microchipped.

Barney is a sweet little 10-month-old Havanese mix weighing in at just 17 lbs. This smart little guy is an absolute joy and truly no trouble at all! ā¤ļø

He loves to play, gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, and heā€™s already house trained! šŸ„° Cats are unknown at this time.

Barney is the kind of little dog who would make a wonderful addition to a loving family. Heā€™s young, playful, smart, and ready to find his forever home! šŸ”šŸ¶

If youā€™re looking for a fun-loving puppy to add to your family, Tessa might be the perfect match!

Tessa is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, born on October 23, 2025, so sheā€™s still very much a puppy. She has lots of energy, curiosity, and a playful spirit, which means sheā€™ll need continued training and guidance as she grows into a wonderful adult dog.

When sheā€™s finished zooming around and playing, Tessaā€™s favorite place is curled up beside her people. Sheā€™s incredibly loving, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles.

Like any puppy, Tessa will thrive with a family thatā€™s patient, committed to her training, and ready to enjoy all the fun (and occasional mischief!) that comes with raising a young dog.

These mixes are intelligent, loyal, active dogs who thrive with families committed to training, exercise, and adventure. These pups are sure to grow into wonderful companions!

They are still young, and will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract in place to ensure their continued health and well-being.
