Thousands of census employees across the country are helping collect data that are vital to improving the lives of Canadians. These are your family, friends or neighbours making a difference for your community.

If you haven't completed your questionnaire yet and we follow up with you, here’s how to recognize official census communications:

📩 Reminder letters will be sent by mail or delivered in person, which will contain a secure access code to complete the census questionnaire online.

🪪 In person follow-ups will be conducted by employees with an identification card.

📱 Text message reminders may also be sent from the text message short code number 236732.

📞 If a follow-up phone call to a household is needed, the census employees will identify themselves clearly.

On behalf of the North Shuswap Pathway Team a sub committee of the North Shuswap Chamber we are so excited to advise progress is being made on the parallel pathway along Squilax Anglemont Road. This trail for non motorized users only is 2.4km from Ross Creek Community Park to the Fraser Bay Pull out. This project is funded by CSRD, Province of BC Active Transportation, the North Shuswap Lions and our donations from very generous members of our North Shuswap community. We are so grateful for everyone's support!

Antiquus Archaelogical Consultants will be completing the Archaelogy Study along the route on Squilax Anglemont Road from May 25-29th, 2026.

Lakeview volunteers are prepping lunch today for the Crowfoot tree planters. They could use a handful more helpers on Saturday. Message if you can come out & plant a few seedlings. Usually ends around 1pm & lunch provided. Need good footwear, be physically able to shovel/bend/hike in step terrain. Meeting at the Crowfoot Mtn Snowmobile Club parking lot.
