We are a proud and growing group of Filipino "otits(uncle)" — whether by blood, marriage, or spirit — who have found home in AMHERST,NOVA SCOTIA. Whether you’re a recent arrival or a long-time local, if you identify as a OTITS, you belong here.
🎯 Mission Statement:
To bring together Filipino uncles in amherst for camaraderie, support, cultural celebration, and the occasional backyard BBQ or karaoke night.
🛠️ What We Do:
•Weekly Otits Tambay: potluck gatherings, BBQs, karaoke nights
•Community Help: helping fellow titos move furniture, fix roofs, fix your car and a shoulder to cry on 😘
•Filipino Holiday Celebrations: Simbang Gabi, Flores de Mayo, birthdays, anniversaries, and more 🎉
•Support for New Titos: Welcome committee for newcomers
