For a long time, PermOasis Retreat was a vision I could see clearly, but explaining it was harder.
The pieces were always there.
Land. Community. Regeneration. Meaningful work. A better quality of life. A place where people could build something real instead of spending their lives trying to keep up with systems that were never designed to help them thrive.
But the website did not fully communicate that.
It spoke about the destination before properly explaining the road that leads there.
That has changed.
The new PermOasis Retreat website reflects the direction the project has grown into. It explains the land, the business model, the founding homesteads, the shared infrastructure, the long-term plan, and the kind of people needed to help bring it to life.
This is no longer just an idea for a retreat.
It is the beginning of a regenerative community built around land ownership, practical independence, shared opportunity, and the belief that a better way of living can still be created by ordinary people willing to do extraordinary work together.
We are now searching for five founding households.
These will be the people who help establish the roots. People who understand that communities are not discovered fully formed. They are planted, protected, and built over time.
I am asking my friends and followers to take a genuine look at the new website.
Read it carefully. Explore the full plan. Tell me what stands out, what raises questions, and what feels important.
Most of all, please share it with anyone you believe may have the skills, resources, character, and courage to become part of something like this.
