A Heartfelt Thank You from the James Arthur Albert Foundation! ❤️

Our sincerest gratitude goes out to Mrs. Shaunna Sanchez and the entire Toledo Community College team for warmly accommodating us for this special occasion.

Today, September 10th, a few of our TCC scholarship recipients, along with their parents, had the opportunity to share a few words from the heart about what receiving a high school scholarship means to them.

It was truly an inspiring and heartfelt moment for everyone in the room as our students and parents shared their experiences with our friends and supporters in Iowa, USA. These students and parents proudly participated on behalf of all 470 JAAF high school scholarship recipients across the Toledo District.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the students and parents who took the time to participate, and to our JAAF Teacher Representative at TCC, Ms. Koral Pop, who has been there every step of the way. Your continued support, dedication, and participation go a long way in helping us serve our students.

To Dr. James Albert, our friends, and all our wonderful supporters in Iowa: thank you for continuing to believe in the children of Toledo. Your generosity goes far beyond providing scholarships—it creates opportunities, inspires hope, and produces ripple effects that can positively impact families and communities for generations to come.

Your support will forever be valued and appreciated.

From all of us here in Toledo, Belize.
Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their future.

God bless you all! 🇧🇿❤️🇺🇸

Happy Battle of St. George’s Caye Day!

Today, September 10th, we join Belizeans across the country in commemorating the Battle of St. George’s Caye, an important part of Belize’s history and heritage.

The Battle of St. George’s Caye, fought between the Baymen and Spanish forces from September 3–10, 1798, is one of the many historic milestones that helped shape the nation we know and love today.

As we commemorate this historic occasion, let us reflect on our past, celebrate the diverse cultures and people that make Belize unique, and continue working together toward a stronger and brighter future for generations to come.

The James Arthur Albert Foundation wishes all Belizeans at home and abroad a safe and enjoyable Battle of St. George’s Caye Day!

Happy September 10th, Belize!

🏫 Celebrating Creativity, Teamwork & Class Pride at BVGSS! 🎨✨

Today, Tuesday, September 1, 2026, the James Arthur Albert Foundation (JAAF) team had the pleasure of being invited to Bella Vista Government Secondary School (BVGSS) to evaluate all seven classrooms using a Competency-Based Rubric provided by the school.

Each classroom was creatively decorated by the students, an activity that encouraged them to work collaboratively while developing an organized, creative, visually appealing, and purposeful learning environment. Through this project, students were able to communicate important information while proudly showcasing their unique class identity, creativity, and teamwork.

🏆 Congratulations to our winning classrooms:
🥇 1 Puma
🥇 3 Mahogany
🥇 4 Dolphins

The dedication and effort placed into these classroom projects were clearly evident. Congratulations to the students for their hard work, creativity, cooperation, and commitment to making their classrooms spaces they can truly be proud of! 👏📚

The James Arthur Albert Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to Principal Mrs. Juanita Lucas and the entire BVGSS staff for inviting our team to participate in this wonderful initiative. We truly appreciate the opportunity to support and celebrate activities that encourage student involvement, responsibility, teamwork, and pride in their school community.

Congratulations once again to all seven classrooms for your tremendous effort! 🌟

As we begin another academic year, we wish everyone a successful and productive 2026–2027 school year! 📚🎓✨
