Meet OW UDP Mayoral Candidate,
Leonard “Leo“ Carballo
Leo was born and raised in Orange Walk Town and has spent the better part of his life building businesses, relationships and a strong connection to the community he calls home — Orange Walk!
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Belize, Leo is a businessman and entrepreneur, and owner of Leo’s Meat Pies and Bakehouse, who brings practical experience in management, strategic planning, entrepreneurship and working with people from diverse backgrounds. Throughout his professional and community life, Carballo has developed a reputation for being approachable, hardworking and solution-oriented.
Orange Walk is more than the place Leonard Carballo calls home. It is the town that raised him, educated him, nurtured him and helped shape the man he is today. Now, he wants to give back to the town that gave him so much — by putting his experience, energy and commitment to work in leading Orange Walk as its Mayor.
While this may be his first rodeo in elected politics, he’s been working in the trenches for years. Carballo brings fresh ideas, energy and passion to improve the lives of every man, woman, youth and child through improved parks and playgrounds, a cleaner town for Orange Walkenos and a vibrant community where businesses and entrepreneurs can develop, thrive and succeed.
New Team, New Direction!
