Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. ❤️

These are the faces of people who were once part of our everyday lives, who shared laughter, love, stories, and memories with us. Though they are no longer here, their presence lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them.

They are part of our families, our community, and the beautiful history of San Pedro. ❤️

This Día de los Mu***os, we remember them not with sadness alone, but with gratitude for the moments we shared and the memories they left behind.

On November 1st, from 11 AM to 6 PM, the Eco Museum Belize invites everyone to join us as we celebrate Día de los Mu***os, honor our loved ones, and keep this beautiful tradition alive.

We encourage everyone to bring a photo of a loved one to be placed on our altar. Photos should be 5x7 inches or smaller so we have enough space to honor everyone’s loved ones. Every photo represents a life, a story, and someone who will always be remembered.

Everyone is welcome to come together, share memories, and celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us. 🧡

As long as their stories are told and their names are remembered, they will never truly leave us.

Some of you may remember that Mito Paz, founder of the Eco Museum, once worked at the San Pedro House of Culture, where he helped keep the tradition of Día de los Mu***os alive. These photos are a glimpse into the beautiful altars created during those years.

Día de los Mu***os is more than a celebration. It is part of San Pedro’s history and culture, a time to come together, share memories, and honor those who are no longer with us but will forever remain in our hearts. ❤️

This November 1st, the Eco Museum invites our community to continue this beautiful tradition with five altars honoring Aztec, Mayan, Catholic, children, and pets.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a photo of a loved one to be placed on our altars. We kindly ask that photos be 5x7 inches or smaller so there is room for everyone to be remembered.

What to expect:
Traditional altars, delicious lunch included with your ticket, a cash bar, face painting, and fun activities for the whole family!

🎟️ Ticket Prices:
• Adults: $20 BZD
• Kids: $10 BZD (smaller lunch portions)
• Paint & Splash: $70 BZD (includes regular admission, lunch, and a painting session)

Some angels have paws 😇 🐾

They may no longer be by our side, but the paw prints they left on our hearts will last forever. Our beloved pets were more than just animals. They were family, our loyal companions, and a source of unconditional love 🐶🐱❤️

This Día de los Mu***os, the Eco Museum Belize will have a special altar dedicated to remembering our furry friends who have crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈🐾

🕯️ We invite everyone to bring a photo of their beloved pet to be placed on our altar.

Because love doesn’t end when they leave us. Their little paw prints stay in our hearts forever. 🧡🐾🌼
