My God and King, You are my foundation. You are the stronghold for my heart, mind, and soul. You reign on a throne of righteousness and holiness. If You were to give me even a fraction of Your presence, it would be enough to satisfy me for a thousand lifetimes. But You don’t just give me a fraction… You offer me the fullness of who You are. While the wicked have fashioned their weapons to win the war of life, You have placed me behind You so I might behold Your victory. It is a sweet and comforting thing to know I am safe in You, and my future is held firmly in the same hands that hold the heavens. I love You, Lord. Dear Lord, as I listen to the truths in today's reading, I thank You for giving me the beatitudes of how I'm supposed to “be” in order to live a life of full abundance and freedom. As I begin to honor the way that I am called to live I thank You that as I pray to You I do not have to worry about where I am going to eat or where I am going to sleep because when I live in divine obedience to You and Your word You continually provide all that I need. Therefore, I declare that worry and fear will no longer be a part of my story, for I know that like a good parent You too desire to feed and provide for every need I have. In addition, I acknowledge that my greatest command is to Love You and to Love my neighbors as myself. With these truths fastened tight around my heart I will live at a higher level, I will serve with greater humility, and I will lead with my way of being so others may see my life and follow You Lord! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Oh God, my refuge and shield, Look down upon me from above. I trust in You to be my guide, to lead me on the path of love. I pray that You will intervene and set me free from the tyranny of sin and shame. I come before You with my heart and ask forgiveness for my sins, knowing You will hear my cries and set me free from the war within. I ask that You see me through and guide me to my heavenly home. Heavenly Father, as I move closer and closer to my destiny I will not sign away my integrity for moments of pleasure. I will stand strong even when the temptations of momentary pleasure try to lure me off my God given assignment. I will not make the mistake Judah made and give away the gifts in my life that validate my identity for I know that I can only walk in my power when I am unapologetically me. So God… today I choose to tap into Your unlimited power that gives me the ability to conquer the mistakes of my past and step into the glorious future You have for me. Give me this day Lord the wisdom of Esther and Mordecai. Allow me to gain strategic and insightful strategies to protect Your children against the plot of the enemy. Like the story in Esther, equip me and those in my circle with the right solutions needed to solve the problems of Your children in business, education, finance, technology, and every other industry You’ve led us to inherit. This I declare myself, as a problem solver, I am a master when it comes to solutions because the wisdom of Your Holy Spirit rests on my mind and heart. The day of salvation and breakthrough has come, the hand of the oppressor has been lifted and we are free to defend our lands and our destinies through the decree of Your Holy Word! Thank You my God that we are free indeed! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Have you ever faced a situation where your actions could change the fate of many?

Esther found herself in such a predicament when she learned of Haman’s decree to destroy the Jews. Her response was a blend of strategic wisdom and unwavering faith.

How do you approach difficult situations with faith and courage?

Esther’s plan began with a risky decision to approach King Xerxes uninvited. In Persian law, this could result in death unless the king extended his scepter. But Esther’s faith in God gave her the courage to proceed, believing that God had placed her in this position for a purpose.

What steps can you take when facing a daunting challenge?

Esther invited the king and Haman to a feast. This act of hospitality set the stage for her to reveal her true intentions. At the second feast, she bravely disclosed Haman’s evil plan to the king, risking her own safety to save her people.

Have you ever walked alongside someone without realizing who they truly were?

The disciples on the Road to Emmaus experienced this with Jesus. How often do we fail to recognize Jesus in our journey?

After the resurrection, two disciples walk to Emmaus, discussing the recent events of Jesus’ crucifixion and the rumors of His resurrection. Jesus joins them, but they are kept from recognizing Him. As they walk, Jesus explains how all the Scriptures point to the Messiah. Imagine the disciples’ amazement as they listened to this stranger revealing the hidden truths of the Bible.

Jesus’ detailed explanation underscores a profound truth: the entire Bible is about Him. From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures reveal God’s plan for redemption through Jesus Christ.

How do we read the Bible? Do we see it as a unified story pointing to Jesus or as a collection of disconnected parts?

When they reach Emmaus, the disciples invite Jesus to stay with them. During the meal, as Jesus breaks bread, their eyes are opened, and they recognize Him. This moment of revelation transforms their understanding and fills them with joy.

How can we invite Jesus into our daily lives and allow him to open our eyes to His presence and truth?
