𝐅𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄𝐃 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐏𝐀 𝐆𝐌'𝐬 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐋𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐀𝐍𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓

Debswana’s Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines (OLDM) today broke ground for the Letlhakane Water Supply Project, funded through the 2025/2026 OLDM General Manager’s Annual Charity Walk.

Speaking at the groundbreaking, OLDM General Manager Mr Mogakolodi Maoketsa said the P5 million-plus project is a meaningful contribution towards addressing water challenges in the rapidly growing Letlhakane community and advancing the aspirations of Vision 2036.

The project will support the installation and equipping of a borehole to strengthen water inflows into the Letlhakane water supply system, improving household water availability, sanitation, living conditions and opportunities for economic activity.
