Bakwena Community Development Trust Bakwena Community Development Trust (BCDT) was established on 11th February 2011, when the government decided to take over the brigades from the community.

It was founded to offer development awareness to the community in various ways. Formerly known as KRDA, Bakwena Community Development Association (BCDA) was established on February 11, 2011, following the government's decision to take over brigades from the community. The Association was founded to promote development awareness and support the community in various ways.
