*SAWC Alert from Mozambique*

On Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Marracuene Lodge in Marracuene District, during the Southern Africa Workcamp Association (SAWC) meeting, our colleague Constância Manuel Tivane (Tex) from AJUDE Mozambique, tragically drowned in the Incomati river.

His body has been discovered this evening Monday 03 March 2025. We kindly keep our dear colleague and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

All SAWC members attending the meeting from AJOV, AJUDE, BWA, ZWA, SAVWA, Footprint of Hope and GEPI went to the family today home to pay our respect and pledged the following 100US dollars, 7000 meticas and 1000 ZA rands.
