In this video, a learner demonstrates how to use a Perkins Brailler — a special typewriter designed for people with visual impairment. It creates Braille (raised dots) on paper that can be read by feeling & touch.

By pressing different buttons simultaneously, the Perkins Brailler can form letters, numbers, and symbols.
It’s an important tool that supports literacy, independence, and access to education for individuals who read Braille.
