The Ministry supports the Paralympics Association of Botswana (PASSOBO) to enhance the participation of PWDs in competitive sports. This includes promoting adapted sports opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities. MoSA supports initiatives like "Parasport Awareness Day," which encourages PWDs and individuals without disabilities to engage in, share experiences, and promote inclusivity.

The Ministry works with organisations like the University of Botswana (UB) to access expertise in sports science, including sports psychology and medicine, to support the specialised needs of athletes with disabilities.
