Peer Voices Club was founded with the following aims:
1) to get youths involved in educational activities: today's youths feel they understand each other better. Youths find certain issues uncomfortable to discuss with elderlies but fun in discussing it with their mates. It is routine for adults to reach out to youths claiming they know what is good for them. But this club wants youths who know so
mething to reach out and learn from fellow youths. And those interested in joining the lesson will listen.
2) to uphold ethical conduct and moral values: With increasing technology, exposure to social networking is increasing. It is good to have smart TVs and keep in touch. But the more networking we do, the less values we apply. The more TV shows we watch, the more our culture deteriorates. Bible warns us of a time when morality won't exist anymore. The more people date, the more their perspective on sexual issues change, and ultimately the more sexually immoral our world becomes. So let us hold hands and, while appreciating and embracing the gift of development, sustain our cultural and moral values.
3) to facilitate the achievement of goals among youths: the greatest impediment to our countries' future is failure among youths. We all have come across geniuses among our generation whose contribution to society is barred by one thing or another. We have youths whose talent can blow you away but are limited by finances. PVC is a club that wishes to cultivate potential among the youth for the growth and development of our societies.
4) To promote the realization of visions among youths: the government of Botswana set up 'pillars of vision 2016'. One of the things we learn in a house hold is that to move forward everyone must participate in one thing or the other. We as youths have a role to play in realizing vision 2016. Not only vision 2016 but also other national and international goals and visions. As part of an international family, PVC wants to do its chores in the house.
5) To motivate youths
