It is with the heaviest hearts, and through tears we cannot dry, that we share the news no parent should ever have to speak. Our beautiful Asli peacefully earned her wings on Thursday, April 9th.

Asli fought with a strength that defied her size, but her little body was tired. While our hearts are shattered we take comfort in knowing she is now free from the hospital walls, the monitors, and the pain she endured with such a brave spirit.

To our community of "Hope Carriers" 🫂

We want to say the deepest, most sincere thank you. When we felt alone, you stood with us. When we were overwhelmed, you carried us.

You were a vital part of her fight. You were her voice when she couldn't speak, and you were her strength when ours was failing. We will never forget how this community rallied to try and give her a miracle.

As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, we ask for your continued prayers and for space as we navigate this profound grief.

Rest now, our sweet girl. You are finally home. 🕊️

One Month of Hope: A Reflection on Asli’s Journey 🕊️✨

One month ago, we started this journey with a heavy heart and a mountain of a goal. Today, we look back at the last 30 days and see nothing but miracles.

The Power of the Village: But in the middle of those challenges, something incredible happened: You showed up. In just four weeks, this community has transformed from a small circle of family into a growing army of "Hope Carriers." You’ve shared her story, you’ve commented your love, and you’ve donated your hard-earned money to build the bridge to India.

Our Progress at a Glance:

📈 The Milestone: We have officially reached R26,394!

🎯 The Target: We are now closing in on our R30,000 milestone.

🌍 The Vision: Every Rand is moving Asli away from hospital stays and closer to the life-saving specialists at AASLT.

As we look at Asli today, we see a little girl who is loved by many. We see a fighter who is getting closer to her "Homecoming" because you chose to care. We are so much closer to "The Call" than we were 30 days ago, and for that, we are eternally grateful.

Help us start Month 2 with Momentum:

👉 Will you leave a "❤️" to celebrate how far we’ve come this month? 👉 Will you SHARE this recap? Let’s show the world that when a community stands together, even the biggest mountains start to move.

Thank you for being the heart of Asli’s miracle. Here is to the month ahead—the month we get even closer to the finish line. 🤍

ONE STEP CLOSER. R26 194 Raised! 🤍 Your shares are making the miracle happen.

Our "Hope Carriers," we have officially reached R26,194!

Seeing this number grow isn't just about the funds—it’s about the growing army of people standing behind Asli. Every Rand is a promise to our daughter that her miracle is on the way.

But we can’t stop now. We need to keep this wave moving.
The goal to get Asli to her specialized surgery in India is a mountain, but we are climbing it together. To reach the donors we haven't met yet, we need your voices.

How you can help right now:

Engage: Leave a "❤️" or a "💪" in the comments. The more you engage, the more Facebook shows Asli’s face to others.

Share: This is our most powerful tool. One share might land on the screen of someone who can help us take the next giant leap.

Join the Journey: If you haven't yet, follow our page and invite your friends to do the same.

We are so close to the next big milestone. Let’s keep pushing, keep sharing, and keep believing.

👉 Drop a "🙌" if you are with us on this journey!

👉 Hit SHARE to help us find the next "Hope Carrier" for Asli!

Thank you for being the wind beneath Asli’s wings. We are doing this, one step at a time! 🤍

This is the reality we are fighting to change.

We are sharing these photos of Asli in the hospital today because it represents the chapter we are working so hard to close. While we are so proud of her incredible spirit and how she handles these monitors and clinical walls, our hearts’ deepest desire is to get her to India so that "hospital life" becomes a distant memory.

The mission to AASLT isn’t just about a surgery—it’s about a homecoming. It’s about giving Asli a life where her world is defined by playmats and sunshine, not hospital trips and recovery wards.

The Momentum is Growing! 📈

Because of this incredible community, we have officially crossed a major milestone and reached R20,570!

Every Rand raised is a step closer to the exit door of this hospital and a step toward the healthy future she deserves. We aren’t just raising funds; we are building a rescue team. We are looking for more "Hope Carriers" to join this circle and help us finish this chapter for good.

👉 Will you join the journey today by leaving a "❤️" in the comments? (Every heart helps the algorithm show Asli’s face to more people!)

👉 Will you help us reach the next milestone by SHARING this post? Your share might be the one that reaches the person who helps us get her to India.
When we stand together, we are stronger than any hospital wall.

Thank you for being the reason we can see the light at the end of the tunnel! 🤍
