With deep sorrow and profound respect, Benggae Youth Development Organization joins the people of Botswana in mourning the passing of Former President, Dr Festus Gontebanye Mogae.

Dr Mogae’s leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to national development helped shape Botswana into a beacon of peace, democracy, and progress. His legacy will continue to inspire generations to lead with humility, integrity, and vision.

In this difficult moment, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and the nation at large.

Today, we proudly unveil the official identity of Benggae Youth Development Organization (BYDO).

Our new logo is more than a design — it is a statement of who we are.

At the center is a rising figure shaped within the letter “B”, representing:

Youth taking charge. Growth from within. Leadership rising from our own land.

Our name stands boldly, with BENGGAE leading — a declaration that we are rooted in our identity as natives of this land, committed to leading and inspiring change.

We also introduce our official tagline:

“From Our Soils, We Rise.”

🟡 Gold — Sovereignty, excellence, and value
🟢 Green — Africa, growth, and the richness of our land

Today, we are not just sharing an update… we sharing a vision.

Over the past year, we've been asking ourselves one question: How do we move from talking about youth empowerment… to actually building it?

In 2025, we took a bold first step and hosted the Youth Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Summit.
It wasn’t perfect — but it was powerful.
We saw potential. We saw ambition. We saw young people ready to build. But we also saw the gaps.

So in 2026, we’re not just hosting an event.
We are building something bigger.

Introducing the Benggae Youth Entrepreneurship & Business Development Programme 2026 — a structured, national platform designed to support young people from idea to investment.

This is more than entrepreneurship. This is about:
• Mindset transformation
• Talent identification
• Building sustainable businesses
• Creating real economic opportunities

At the heart of this programme:
🔹 A startup pipeline (BSIC) developing investment-ready businesses
🔹 A national summit connecting youth, leaders, and investors
