Join us on the 28th to 30th of July 2026 next week for our freshmen stall exhibition day at block 252 open space together with other university of Botswana student clubs.

We are ready and open to recieve first years and other new continuing students to become members of our club to drive its main objective of promoting charity , community development and youth empowerment.

We are happy and honored to announce our official partnership with the Botswana Youth Ahead Organization on the Botswana Youth SDG’s summit 2026 that will be held from the 6th to 7th of November, the venue and other details of the event will be shared .

The youth are the future and the now , let’s unite as the youth of Botswana to achieve sustainable development as a key element in ensuring that resources and necessities of the nation are not depleted for the future generation.

Congratulations to the following applicants for making it to the interview which will be held on the 31st of July at the university of Botswana between 1600 hrs to 1800 hrs . The venue and facilitators for the interview for retrieving organizational comprehension and the vision for The Giving House will be shared ASAP .

We can’t wait to have 2026/2027 executive committee that will help us drive the mission and objective of The Giving House to uplift communities and the youth of Botswana .

Know the Founder of The Giving House 😀🤭😀

Beyonce Khumo Makgoeng , a 20 year old young lady from Serowe , studying Bsc in environmental science , year 3 from university of Botswana . She founded this organization in 2024 and has been motivated by the leadership journey in her senior school, Swaneng Hill School where she lead the students as the Src President in 2022- 2023 as a female .

Beyonce has a great ambition to grow The Giving House as a big organization that will launched in other tertiary institutions such as BIUST , BAC , BUAN and IDM. Thus she’s more than dedicated and willing to have the next competent executive committee to assist her in driving the objective of The Giving House.

She highlighted that she wants The Giving House to help the youth and vulnerable families in Tlokweng , Her Home Village Serowe , in Kgalagadi , Mogorosi, Otse , Gabane , and a lot of villages in Botswana .

Our founder is such as a multi skilled leader , an enthusiast of women empowerment, sustainable development, globalization, tourism gender equality and localization , a public speaker and a community developer.

Upon completion of her studies in some few years she is willing to take over in the national development of Botswana as she has always aspired to be a minister and a member of parliament since standard 3 and once got awarded for excellence by Ntlo ya Dikgosi on her standard 7 tour as she had more knowledge about the parliamentary structure of Botswana .
