Youth Leader Spotlight: The Unconventional Circle (Nikita Makwana)
Championing the youth job readiness agenda is Nikita Makwana through her transformational initiative The Unconventional Circle - TUC, with its mission to shape unconventional leaders across Africa and beyond.
What began as a vision has evolved into a thriving movement that is redefining how young professionals prepare for the realities of the modern workplace.
The program itself is anchored in the belief that Africa’s young professionals deserve more than just academic knowledge. They need clarity, workplace readiness, and the confidence to lead with courage and purpose. Over twelve transformative weeks, Cohort 3 mentees immersed themselves in this journey, gaining not only professional insight but also the inspiration to pursue leadership that is both bold and unconventional.
“The Unconventional Circle is not merely a mentorship program—it is a movement. And with each passing year, the movement grows stronger, bolder, and more determined to shape the next wave of Africa’s leaders and we are now open to welcome the next cohort,” said Nikita Makwana , Program Director.
