The University of Botswana Disability Awareness Association (UBDAA) extends to you a warm invitation to attend the upcoming Open Mic Event on Friday, 27th February 2025, from 18:00 – 21:00 hrs at VAPA in the University of Botswana.

This Open Mic Event will provide a vibrant platform for students to share their experiences, talents, and perspectives on disability rights through personal narratives, artistic performances, and powerful advocacy messages. The event aims to foster greater understanding, spark meaningful dialogue, and cultivate a culture of inclusion across the university campus and beyond.

This is a joint initiative between the University of Botswana Disability Awareness Association (UBDAA) and the University of Botswana Psychology Society (UBPS). In addition to raising awareness about disability rights and the lived experiences of persons with disabilities, the ticket sales from the event will be used to purchase toiletry hampers for Mogobane Inclusive Centre, an organization dedicated to empowering and assisting persons with disabilities in the community.
