The Executive Committee of Women in Mining Botswana Organization (WiMBO) hereby invites all members to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

🗓 Date: Tuesday, 8 September 2026
🕙 Time: 16:00 PM
📍 Venue: Stanbic Bank Acceler8 Incubator, Fairgrounds, Gaborone (with virtual access available)

The AGM is convened in accordance with the Constitution of Women in Mining Botswana Organisation and serves as the highest decision-making meeting of the Society.

Key Agenda Items
• Confirmation of the previous AGM minutes
• Presentation of the Executive Committee Report
• Financial Report of the Executive Committee (2025/26)
• Introduction of the WiMBO Youth Committee
• Any other business as may be admitted by the Chair

Members wishing to place additional items on the agenda are requested to submit them in writing to the Secretary on or before 4:00 PM, Tuesday, 25 August 2026.

Your participation is important as we reflect on our achievements, strengthen our governance, and shape the future of Women in Mining Botswana.

Happy Father’s Day

At WiMBO, we see fatherhood in many forms. In the manager who mentors a young woman engineer. In the supervisor who prioritizes safety because “someone’s child is coming home today.” In the father at home who supports his daughter’s dream of working underground. The mentor who deliberately and intentionally becomes an ally. The father figure who advocates and collaborates with women to create an environment where women can thrive.
