To say we are proud of our Chief of staff is an understatement, she continues to make the Sewelo team, community and founder Njiramanda Mbewe Boatey very proud. 🔥💜💜💜

IN THE SPOTLIGHT TODAY ✨

This is Kemmonye - a passionate community health mobiliser and fearless mental health advocate.

She is the Founder and Chairperson of Semela Moding Organization, a movement born in 2023 with a clear mission: to address mental health challenges from the core up. Her work recognises that healing doesn’t happen in isolation, which is why Semela Moding focuses on three critical levels - the individual, the family, and the community. This holistic approach helps tackle root causes, not just symptoms.

Kemmonye is not only leading change on the ground but also growing as a leader herself as a Chief of Staff in the Sewelo Mentorship Programme, founded by Attorney Njiramanda Mbewe Boatey. Her journey reflects both service and continuous learning - a combination that strengthens the impact she brings to every space she steps into.

Grounded, compassionate, and community-driven, Kemmonye represents the kind of leadership that transforms lives and restores hope.

Today, we celebrate a voice for mental health within the Anti To***co Network, a builder of support systems, and a true agent of change.

On the International Day of the Girl Child, Sewelo Mentorship Programme hosted its first-ever graduation, marking a powerful milestone for its 2025 cohort.

Founder Njiramanda Mbewe-Boatey praised the graduates as “the true diamonds of this country”, celebrating their journey from hesitation to confident leadership.

She urged graduates to step boldly into their purpose, reminding them that “even slow movement is victory.”

The event, graced by gold medalist at the World Championships, Collen Kebinatshipi and Former Minister Joy Phumaphi, was a stirring celebration of resilience, mentorship, and purpose.

A new chapter begins as Boitekanelo College partners with Sewelo through an MoU to host future cohorts, welcoming the programme to its new home.
