50 years ago, the youth of June 16 changed the course of history because they believed in the power of education. ✊🏾✨

Today, the battlefield has changed, but the mission remains exactly the same: Empowering the next generation. When we look at the kids in our Saturday bootcamps, we don’t just see students. We see future engineers coding the next big software, pilots flying drones to solve real-world problems, and innovators using AI and robotics to reshape Africa. 🤖🛸💡

Just a week ago, some of our Phakalani students were still learning how to control a drone. Today was a completely different story.

The moment the drones came out, the excitement was impossible to miss. Students arrived eager and ready, asking, “Are we flying the drones today?” As soon as the drones took off, smiles filled the air. The confidence they showed while controlling the drones was amazing to watch.
In fact, many of them didn’t want the session to end! Even when it was time to stop, they kept asking, “Can we fly just one more time?” Their enthusiasm showed just how much they enjoyed the experience.

Now imagine your child coming home and hearing their friends excitedly talk about flying drones, and creating amazing projects—while they can only listen because they missed out.
