Honouring God with our actions goes beyond knowing what is right it is about choosing to do what is right even when it is not easy. True honour is seen when we obey God in our daily lives, especially in moments where no one is watching.

Sometimes we face situations where we must decide between what is convenient and what is right. In those moments, honouring God means choosing honesty over dishonesty, patience over anger, and love over bitterness. It is in these small, everyday decisions that our faith becomes real and visible.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”James 1:22

This verse teaches us that hearing God’s word is not enough. What matters most is putting it into action. When we live according to God’s word, we show that we truly respect and honour Him.

Honouring God with our actions also means being consistent not only when people are watching, but even in private. God sees our hearts and our intentions, and He is pleased when we choose to live in obedience.

Today, let us challenge ourselves to practice what we believe. Let our actions reflect our faith in every situation. Because when we live in obedience, we are not just talking about God we are showing Him through our lives.

TOPIC-Honouring God with our Actions.

Honouring God with our actions means that our faith is not just in what we say, but in how we live every day. It is about aligning our behavior, choices, and lifestyle with God’s will. Many people speak about God, but true honour comes when our actions reflect Him through kindness, integrity, obedience, and love.

The Bible teaches that everything we do should reflect God’s glory. This means even the smallest things how we treat others, how we work, and how we respond to challenges should show that we belong to Him. Our actions become a testimony to others, showing them the character of God through us.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.1 Corinthians 10:31

This verse reminds us that honouring God is not limited to church or prayer time it is a daily lifestyle. When we choose to do what is right, serve others, and live with purpose, we are honouring God through our actions.
Let our lives speak louder than our words, because true honour to God is shown through what we do.

The bible offers comfort and hope by acting as a living anchor for the spirit during difficult times. It provides more than positive thinking, it offers a settled confidence based on God's character and specific promises

bible repeatedly assures believers that God's close to those are suffering

invites the weary to find relief with Jesus and he gives them rest

# Faith comes from hearing the word of God and it contains the wisdom needed for salvation through Christ
Romans 10:17 ESV
[17] So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
you don't read/study the bible where do you think your faith will come ?
Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God
You need to to hear/know the word of God for your faith to grow.
And you can't expect your faith to grow when you only read the word of God on Sundays only.

Today will be learning on the importance of the bible/ the word ,as we all the bible is not just information. There are so many things we get from studying the bible as Christians
And the following are the importance of the bible ;

📌Revelation of God
reveals God's character, holiness, love and his plan for salvation through Jesus Christ, if you want to know who God is the bible will reveal to you,because you can't say you know God o sa itse his word.How are you going to know what he wants from you if you don't know his word or study it
Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV
[9] Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. I hope this finds you well. This week we will be discussing on the importance of the BIBLE.

First things first what is the bible?
📌The bible is the inspired authoritative word of God serving as a primary source for knowing God's character, salvation and truth
📌An active guide that directs the believer's life and protects from misguided detours

📌The bible is more than we think it is.It is God's special revelation of himself

📌The bible is a collection of 66 individual books that together form the fundamental scriptures for Christianity ,written by approximately 40 authors and this authors were inspired by the holyspirit to record the word God

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV
[16] All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

📌The bible is divided into two sections which is the old Testament which contains the law,poetry, prophecies ,history

📌The new Testament which is about the life,teachings, death and the resurrection of Jesus and the early church.

📌In essence the word God is not just information but a living active power that transforms, guides and sustains a believer,making them complete and fully equipped for their journey.

I just want to sincerely thank you for ur time and ur openness to God’s Word throughout this week🙏🏽❤️
As we have come to the end of our topic on God’s Presence, let us remember that *God’s presence is not something we visit but it is something we carry.*

📖 *Psalm 139:7-10* reminds us that there is nowhere we can go where God is not with us. From the highest mountains to the lowest valleys—He is there.

✨ Throughout this week, we have learned that:
• God is always present
• We must learn to recognize His voice
• And most importantly, we must respond in obedience
Now the question is not just what we have learned but what we will do going forward.

⭐ May we become people who:
• Walk daily aware of His presence
• Listen carefully for His voice
• Respond quickly with obedience
• And live lives that reflect Him

God’s presence is our strength in weakness, our peace in chaos, and our guide in uncertainty. We are never alone.He walks with us every step of the way.

As we close, may this be our prayer:
🙏🏽 “Lord, thank You for Your presence that never leaves us. Help us to remain aware of You daily, to walk in obedience, and to live lives that honor You. Let Your presence guide us in everything we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

May the Lord bless you, keep you, and continue to reveal Himself to you even beyond this week 🙏🏽🕯️
