His Majesty's Retired Armed Forces Society would like to take this opportunity to thank His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo for the opportunity to continue serving our Tsa Wa Sum.

This noble initiative has not only turned us into responsible citizens but also brought our long lost friends together and re-living all those precious good old days has been an unforgettable experience.

While we bid adieu for now we are ever ready to serve anytime and any place.

Many those who are attached to the groups with the Retired Armed Forces tell that they are some of the most hardworking group of people.

It is not just works they are good at but also entertaining. As the 4 day of the 5th Volunteer Initiative comes to an end, one of the retired armed forces expresses his gratitude to His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo and all those who have come to support His Majesty's aspirations through a melodious song.

The second day started off with a grand salute to His Majesty for the opportunity to serve Tsa Wa Sum.

We are also proud to share the picture of two retired female policewomen who are part of the group of more than 600 retired armed forces from twenty Dzongkhags who have come all the way from Thimphu to render their services.

Amongst them are also determined gentlemen who may appear weak and some walking with the aid of a walking sticks but high in their spirits to continue serving His Majesty The Druk Gyalpo.

In a small and simple gathering, His Majesty's Retired Armed Forces Society celebrated His Majesty's birth anniversary.

This time we have more than 600 retired armed forces from all twenty Dzongkhags gathered at GMC to volunteer. They are put up at Gelephu Higher Secondary School.
