On behalf of the TEDxThimphu team, we are excited to announce that TEDxThimphu 2027 is scheduled for March 20, 2027, in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan — a city that still has no traffic lights by design.

The theme, “Mindfulness by Design: Shaping a More Humane Future Through Conscious Choices”, invites speakers, artists, and changemakers to explore how intentional living and thoughtful design can guide us toward a more compassionate and sustainable world.
Following the grand success of TEDxThimphu 2026, which brought together 11 inspiring speakers from 7 countries, we are building on that momentum to create an even more impactful experience in 2027.
