The Club Rovers set out on an unforgettable adventure, beginning early at 7 AM from college with the mountains calling and spirits high.
Starting from the iconic Dochula Pass, the team embarked on a two-hour uphill trek through an exotic forest of pine, juniper, and rhododendron, where mossy paths wound through a peaceful valley adorned with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains.
At an elevation of 3,000 meters, Lungchuzekha Goemba welcomed us with its serene and sacred presence โ a place that humbles you the moment you arrive. As part of our commitment to service, the Rovers also conducted a paper pick-up campaign around the Goemba surroundings, leaving the sacred site as pristine as we found it.
On the descent back to Dochula, members gathered for a bonding activity โ sharing laughter and camaraderie that only the mountains can bring out in people.
Lungchuzekha Goemba is more than a destination. It is an experience of a lifetime, and one we are proud to have shared together as Club Rovers.
