Staff Spotlight:

Ms. Lemo comes with a wealth of experience, deep compassion, and a strong commitment to quality elder care. She brings over 8 years of care worker experience from Australia, where she gained extensive expertise in aged care management, home care, adult day care, social work and community development. During her time abroad, she developed a strong understanding of best practices in clinical management, quality improvement, and person-centred service delivery, which has significantly shaped her professional approach.

Before her sojourn in Australia, Lemo served in clinical services under the Ministry of Health as a nurse and midwife for more than 10 years in various hospitals and project hospitals across the country. Having returned to Bhutan, Ms. Lemo assumes the role of Director (Clinical Services), where she applies her extensive practical experience and leadership skills to strengthen services and promote person-centred care.

Ms. Lemo is committed to advancing care for the elderly, drawing on her advanced experience to implement best global practices, elevate standards, and ensure that Bhutan’s elderly are treated with dignity, support, and personalised attention. With her exceptional expertise and leadership, she brings a practical touch and experience to work professionally and compassionately towards advancing the quality of life and well-being of the elderly.
