༈ གསང་སྔགས་ཀྱི་སྒོར་ཞུགས་པ་ནི་དཀའ་ཞིང་དཀོན་ནོ། །དེ་ལས་ཀྱང་དབང་ཐོབ་པ་ནི་འདི་ལྟར། པད་གླིང་གཏེར་བྱོན་ལས། ཇི་སྐད་དུ། གངས་དཀར་སྟེང་གི་མེ་ཏོག་དང་༔ གནམ་སྟོང་སྲོད་ཀྱི་ཉི་ཟླ་དང་༔ མེ་ཏོག་ཨུ་དུམ་ཝ་ར་དང་༔ ཉིན་པར་ནུབ་པའི་སྐར་མ་བཞིན༔ བརྒྱ་ལམ་ན་ནི་རེས་འགའོ༔ འདི་དང་འཕྲད་པའི་སྐལ་ལྡན་རྣམས༔ སྔོན་ནས་ལས་འཕྲོ་ཅན་ཡིན་ནོ༔ ཞེས་གསུངས་པས་དགའ་བ་དང་སྤྲོ་བ་ཆེན་པོ་མཛོད།

“Entering the gate of secret mantra is difficult and rare. Even more so is receiving empowerment. As stated,
- Flowers blooming on snowy peaks
- Sun and moon visible at midnight
- The legendary udumbara flower (said to bloom once every 3,000 years)
- Stars visible in daylight
Those fortunate ones who encounter this
Are those with karmic connections from previous lives?

Therefore, have great joy and delight.”

The text emphasizes that encountering ta***ic teachings and empowerment is extraordinarily rare, and those who do have this opportunity possess special karmic merit from past lives, so they should rejoice in this precious circumstance.

“In the winter of 1973, at the request of Her Majesty, the Royal Grandmother Phuntsho Choden, His Holiness Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche Jigdral Yeshe Dorje bestowed the complete empowerments and reading transmissions of Pema Lingpa’s teachings in the assembly hall of Teacher Training Institute in Samtse, Bhutan.

Peling Empowerment and Transmission - Day 16

Omniscient Drimé Özer discovered the Terma hidden beneath the throne cushion in the scripture hall at Chimpu Dregu and later concealed it again in the wall of the Labrang at Bumthang Tharpaling. Then, the great vidyadhara Pema Lingpa revealed it as a Terma- the core of the parent and child tantras of Dzogchen Kunzang Gongdü, including the empowerment manual called “The Jewel Lamp,” which was granted to the public today.

The oral transmissions of the profound terma teachings continued with Volume G.
