Theme for the First Week of Cybersecurity Awareness Month:
"Lock it Down: Strong Passwords + Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)"

This week’s theme is all about making your online accounts safe and secure. Just like you lock your door to keep your home safe, you need strong protection for your digital life.

Strong Passwords: Use long, unique passwords with letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid easy-to-guess words like birthdays or names.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): Add an extra step when logging in — such as a code from your phone. Even if someone gets your password, MFA keeps them out.

In simple terms:
Strong passwords are your first lock, and MFA is your extra security guard. Together, they “lock it down” so your accounts stay safe.

📡 SANOG 43 – Day 2 | Saturday, 23rd August 2025

The final day of SANOG 43, hosted by BTNOG-12 and supported by Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan featured a series of in-depth technical sessions and panel discussions led by regional and international experts.
The program fostered valuable dialogue around key developments in internet infrastructure and cybersecurity across South Asia.

The event concluded with a closing plenary, lightning talks, and community updates—marking the end of a successful and collaborative conference.

We are pleased to announce the commencement of SANOG 43, A two-day event hosted by BTNOG-12 and supported by Government Technology (GovTech) Agency, Royal Government of Bhutan, taking place at Terma Linca Resort & Spa, Babesa, Thimphu.

This remarkable gathering has brought together over 100 ICT professionals from across South Asia, fostering a dynamic and inclusive platform for regional collaboration, in-depth technical exchange, and meaningful knowledge sharing.

We look forward to two days of insightful discussions and meaningful connections as we work together to strengthen internet infrastructure, build digital capacity, and foster sustainable growth across the region.
