A tragic incident occurred at around 2:00 AM on the night of 15 March in the Pathibhara base forest under Tendu Gewog.Sheep Herder Mr.Lal Bahadur Gurung, a 64-year-old who is from Fenchi Village under Bara Gewog, lost his life when a tree fell on the herders’ camp due to strong winds while they were sleeping in the forest.

Two other herders who were at the camp sustained injuries in the incident.

The family of the deceased has reported the matter to the Gewog Office and is seeking any possible assistance during this difficult time.
