Tshelshingzore Youth Society - TYS We believe that closer community means a resilent and healthy community. The Society is founded by three innovative college youths, viz.

Tshelshingzore Youth Society is a non-profit organization formed by the students, graduates, dropouts and the local individuals to bring community closer through collective efforts. TYS- Tshelshingzore Youth Society is an organization of student/dropouts youth group intended at mutual growth of the society. An organization is a group of students and dropouts from various social and financial backg

rounds. Currently, the society serves the purpose for uniting the villagers which they have been remaining separated few years from each other’s interests. Tashi Tshering and Lobzang Nima (Sherubtse College-Dzo-Geo) currently working as a Fire Operator (PHPA) after the completion of their degrees, and Sangay Yeshi (Samtse College of Education) currently Biology Teacher at Pelkhil School. Since its institution, the exclusive purpose of the Society was to communally collect sum amounts and dine in mass along with the villagers. However, the objectives has remained changing overtime with the needs of the changing youth and innovative minds.The Society has came into its live in January, 15 2012 then was held consecutively in 20th January 2013. The Gathering was successful, first gathering was held in Lungbaktaang Ri with the starting members 32. In the Gathering, Ngawang (Khandum Export Manager) was first chief guest to preside over the young Society.

Short clip on chungipa losar celebration 2026. This is one of the oldest games that we play in our community. The game is called the "Kolokpa" game in local dialogue. It can have as many players. It is mostly played by women but men can also play.
