💰📊 Financial Literacy Day 📊💰

The Big Yard Bloom girls enjoyed a hands-on Financial Literacy Day focused on building real-world money management and entrepreneurship skills.

They learned the importance of understanding key financial terms such as income, expenses, and profit, and how profit is what remains after expenses are deducted from income. The girls explored how money flows in a business and why tracking finances is essential for success.

They also took on exciting challenges, including creating their own business ideas and clearly explaining their projected income, expenses, and expected profit. In a group “Shark Tank” style activity, they designed innovative new products that have never been seen before and pitched their ideas with creativity and confidence.

To further strengthen their financial thinking, the girls participated in a challenge to turn $100 into $200, encouraging them to think strategically about investment, pricing, and smart decision-making.

This session helped them understand that financial literacy is more than numbers—it is about confidence, creativity, responsibility, and building a mindset for future success. ✨
