Earlier this month, our 2026 cohort spent an evening at Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club at Baha Mar (Jon Batiste’s Jazz Club at Baha Mar), experiencing live jazz and connecting with professional musicians.
During the evening, our founder, Christopher Hilton (Christopher Hilton), sat in with officialjazzcats for a number, giving students the opportunity to see one of their mentors performing alongside the band.
Experiences like these are a priority for us because they often inspire our students in ways that a classroom alone cannot.
Grateful to the musicians of officialjazzcats for welcoming our students, and sharing their wit, wisdom and artistry so generously, helping to make the evening one to remember.
