BETA Camp

20/10/2026

Recently, students joined us at the University of The Bahamas North Campus for our STEM Pop-Up, where they spent the day tackling challenges, working together and getting hands-on with different activities.

Whether they already had an interest in engineering or were trying something completely new, the workshop gave everyone a chance to experiment and explore different STEM fields.

A big thank you to our volunteers and facilitators for sharing their time and expertise, and to all the students who made the day so enjoyable! 💙

October is National Youth Month! 🇧🇸

This year’s theme, “Voice to Vision, Youth: Impacted, Amplified, and Empowered,” is a reminder that young people need more than encouragement. They need spaces where their ideas are heard, opportunities to explore them and the tools and support to bring them to life.

We see it firsthand when young people ask questions, work through challenges, build something of their own or stand up and share their ideas.

This month, we celebrate young Bahamians who are learning, creating and finding their voices. 💡

That’s a wrap on BETA Camp 2026!

From computer and chemical engineering to biomedical and mechanical engineering, our campers spent the week exploring STEM through hands-on activities, challenges and plenty of teamwork.

We closed out camp with a project competition, giving each group the chance to present what they had worked on throughout the week and put their ideas, creativity and problem-solving skills to the test.

A special thank you to H Forbes Charters for supporting BETA Camp as our in-kind transportation sponsor and helping us make the week possible.

To our campers, volunteers, mentors and everyone who helped bring BETA Camp 2026 to life in Grand Bahama, thank you for an incredible week! 💙
