UB’s School of English presents the 9th Annual Blue Flamingo Literary Festival.

The BFLF is in its ninth year, having been launched in 2017. Since it first began, it has continued to grow in popularity as one of the most anticipated annual events on the University’s calendar. Over the years the festival has featured writers from the Bahamas, the wider Caribbean, Canada, Nigeria, the United Kingdom, and the United States. One of the principal objectives of the festival is to promote the literary arts and to engender a deep appreciation for reading and writing, as well as to advance literary production within the Bahamas.
