Psalm 19:10 highlights the immeasurable value of God’s word, stating it is more valuable than gold and sweeter than honey. This verse emphasizes that God’s teachings are a greater treasure than any material wealth and provide more profound satisfaction than the sweetest food. The commentary explains that “much fine gold” and the “droppings of the honeycomb” represent the finest of their kind, showing that the value of God’s law surpasses even the most precious things on Earth.

The command to honor parents applies to all of us all our lives. But here, as in Colossians 3:20, children should obey their parents in all things "in the Lord."

The apostle is not saying a child must break the Ten Commandments if a parent orders him to so. Children should obey "in the Lord," that is, obey commands that agree with the will of God. Most younger children cannot grasp whether a parental order conforms to God's will. But as they age, they need to understand that they, too, are under the authority of the living Christ.

Though parents have a huge part in starting children off on the right foot regarding this commandment, the greater responsibility for keeping it rests with the child. At some point, children need to realize that their submission to parents is an act of faith in Christ.

The word for “power” is from a form of the Greek word exousia and it describes one who has received delegated authority and power. Jesus said, “I’m giving you authority; I’m delegating this authority to you to tread….” The word “tread” is from a form of the Greek word pateo, meaning to walk on, to trample, to crush, or to advance by setting the foot upon. Jesus said, “I’m giving you power to advance, and along the way, if necessary, you can trample serpents and scorpions.” The word “serpents” is from a form of the Greek word ophis, meaning snake. This word is used in the Scripture to describe Satan when he strikes to kill.

Jesus said, “You have no need to be afraid of the devil or any attack he may wage against you because I have given you authority to move your feet. Just start walking forward. If the devil gets in your way, trample him with no fear of an attack or of him striking you.”

Shifting Generations Back to God 🛡️

We believe that taking the time to pour into the lives of these young men will make a difference for their future. Today was a real talk session with the young men from Grade 9 “Real Talkz: Addressing Issues Derailing our Youth". We talked about various issues our young people are facing in their homes and communities due to the environment they live in. We spoke on the importance or our education, abstaining from s*x, drugs, and violence. We then ended by praying and cover these young men as they now would be moving onto Sr. High. All is not lost with the youth of our nation. The young men were engaged we had jokes and talked about the importance of serving God. I speak over the lives of these young men that they will not be another statistic to their environment, they will be future leaders of Godly principles in this country, they will usher us into authentic revival saving souls for the kingdom of God. God will get the glory from their lives in Jesus name 🙏🏽

Ecclesiastes 12: 1:Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them.

Shifting Generations Back to God 🛡️

Today it was an honor to support and represent this young man Joel Bain who has been on his path to greatness. This is just another milestone in his story and about the faithfulness of God. I remember some years ago in Gentleman’s Club meeting this young men and him being drawn to learn more about God. Fast forward to his graduation from Charles W. Saunders Baptist School and now seeing him complete his Associates of Science in AgriBusiness with Credit from Bamsi Bahamas. Joel Bain also received the Academic Achievement Award in AGRIBUSINESS. Today we congratulate Joel Bain 🎊🎉🎊🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎊🎊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎊⭐️⭐️ He has plans to open and operate his own Agribusiness here in the Bahamas and the United States 🦅 There is nothing God cannot do. We speak over your life Joel that you will accomplish all that you put forth your mind and hands to do in Jesus name 🙏🏽 The Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture and Marine Resources

Shifting Generations Back to God 🛡️

We believe that taking the time to pour into the lives of these young men will make a difference for their future. Topic for this meetings discussion was “What was God original purpose for man? & Our s*xuality as men. We discussed what Gods original purpose was for man and how he created us to be the head, leaders, examples, to have over the earth. He created male and female and set an order as to be attracted to the opposite s*x. We look at what the word of God had to say and encouraged them to abstain from s*x and lust.

Genesis 5: 2 - Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

2 Timothy 2:22 - Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

1 Corinthians 6: 18 - Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.”

The whole picture in 2 Timothy 1:7 is not talking about a fear of God, but a fear of man, a fear of what could happen to us in this world, a fear of things going this way or that way around us, fear of circumstances, and all kinds of ways like that. God has not given us a spirit of fear like that. He has given us a spirit of power and love and self-control. The whole picture here is of boldness, a humble confidence and power to love in the middle of a world of uncertainty, self-control when you can’t control the things around you.

You have to be so careful as to what you allow to come out of your mouth. Because what you say, your mind will hear and then will follow suit. Your mind is always listening and it processes the things that it hears and it will directly impact the emotions that you feel as well as your actions. This is why it is so important that you watch what comes out of your mouth.

To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. To be "more than a conqueror" means we not only achieve victory, but we are overwhelmingly victorious. Satan is our adversary. He sends all kinds of life-defeating, joy-stealing attacks to threaten the well-being and faith of God’s children. Many of those attacks are listed in Romans 8:35–39: trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, and sword. Paul is encouraging us to stand firm in our faith when those attacks come, reminding us that not only will we win in the end, but Jesus enables us to win now.

We believe that taking the time to pour into the lives of these young men will make a difference for their future. Topic for this meetings discussion was “Bullying” where the young men expressed themselves and learned that making someone else weak doesn’t and you strong. Our presenter Min. Hugh G. Fowler made them think deeply and realize characteristics and traits that they need to correct within themselves. As children of God we should show love and love our neighbor as ourself.

Mark 12: 31 - The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.
