Over the past weekend, the Brothers of the Phi Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. proudly represented the Bahamas at the 66th Florida Federation District Convention! 🇧🇸🖤💛

Alongside our brothers from Iota Epsilon Lambda and Sigma Beta Lambda Chapters, we witnessed the continued growth and impact of Bahamian Alpha men stepping into leadership, strengthening brotherhood, and advancing the aims of our great fraternity.

The convention provided an invaluable opportunity to gain exposure, exchange ideas, and develop as leaders.

🏆 Special Recognition:

Bro. Pedro Saunders, Chapter President, and Bro. Jhonson Davilma received the Leadership Service Award, highlighting the commitment and dedication of Bahamian brothers to leadership and service.

As we continue to uphold the principles of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind, we remain committed to representing the Bahamas with excellence and making a lasting impact.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Bahamian Alpha College Brothers on their appointments to the Leadership Team of Bro. Maurice D. Fench, Jr., Southern Regional Assistant Vice President!

These appointments are a proud moment for Alpha in The Bahamas and a powerful reflection of the leadership, commitment, and spirit of service demonstrated by our College Brothers in the Florida and Alabama Districts.

It is especially encouraging to see our young Brothers stepping forward, accepting greater responsibility, and continuing to represent The Bahamas with distinction throughout the Southern Region.

Their appointments remind us that leadership is not simply something we talk about—it is something we cultivate, develop, and put into action.

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated develops leaders. Today, we proudly celebrate these Brothers as they continue that tradition of leadership and service.

Congratulations, Brothers! Continue to lead, serve, and make Alpha—and The Bahamas—proud.

Chalk the Walk | Anti-Hazing

The Phi Mu Chapter stands firmly against hazing. Through our participation in Chalk the Walk, we placed this message in the spotlight to promote awareness and remind our community that hazing and brotherhood cannot coexist. Ending hazing takes a collective commitment, and we encourage everyone to stand with us in creating a safer and stronger brotherhood.

With hurricane season bringing recent thunder flare ups, heavy rainfall, and power outages across The Bahamas, it is important to stay alert and take the necessary precautions.

If you can hear thunder, seek shelter immediately and remain indoors until the storm has safely passed. Stay informed, stay prepared, and most importantly, stay safe.

The Phi Mu Chapter encourages everyone to take lightning and severe weather safety seriously.
